Australia/NZ Reference Centre (new window)

This is a general database of Australian and international content with articles in health, current affairs, science, social science, business and literature. It includes articles from Australian newspapers and Australian and international magazines in full text and contains 35,000 full text biographies, 10,000 images and 1,000 maps.

GreenFILE (new window)

GreenFILE offers information covering all aspects of human impact on the environment. Its collection includes content on the environmental effect of individuals, corporations and governments. Topics include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling and more.

MasterFILE Premier (new window)

This database provides full text for more than 2,100 general reference publications with information dating as far back as 1975. It covers virtually every subject area of general interest, and also includes reference books, biographies, primary source documents, photos, maps and flags.


World Book Encyclopedia (new window)

This database provides access to all encyclopedia articles from the 22-volume Print Edition plus over 3,700 more articles, with access to maps, images, videos and e-books.

World Book for Kids (new window) (part of World Book Encyclopedia)

This database provides fun and easy-to-read articles, video clips, games, science projects, interactive tools, animation, maps, pictures and sound files and teacher resources.

Looking for a good fiction or non fiction book? NoveList is a fiction database with information on more than 135,000 titles. Users can search for information by author, title or series and locate lists of award-winning books. Need a book discussion guide? NoveList has guides for over 400 book group favorites.

This is a full-text database that provides students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue.
